Your filter must be free from dust and clogs to perform effectively. Replacing your filters regularly will ensure your HVAC unit will operate at its maximum potential.
Check the surrounding of your outdoor unit. Make sure it is clear from debris, now, and ice in the top, sides, bottom and around it.
Outdoor units collect dirt debris. Coils must be cleaned routinely during winter HVAC maintenance. Dirty coils are like clogged filters, they can hamper the performance of your unit. Use a water hose and a cleaning agent to clean the coils. Wash it from the inside out.
